In time for the launch of the Lumia 1020 in India, Nokia launched a new video promotion the 41-megapixel-sensor smartphone.
Titled "A day through the eye of the Nokia Lumia 1020," the video immediately shows the viewer that 4,000 pictures were taken within 24 hours for the advertisement. The Lumia 1020 captured the 4,000 photos.

The first image comes New Delhi on Sept. 25 from a waterfront view before transitioning to the city. From daylight to nighttime, the Lumia 1020 captured photos of the busy New Delhi streets to the soundtrack "Maya" by Coshish.
According to the Nokia, the Lumia 1020 is available for Rs. 49,999, which is $817 when converted to the U.S. dollar. The price is down 21 percent from the original Rs. 62,999, a savings of Rs. 13,000. The Rs. 49,999 price tag is valid for the black, white, and yellow Lumia 1020 models.
As Latinos Post reported, the Lumia 1020 launched on Oct. 11 in India. The launch date came after Nokia India's Sept. 26 event confirming the Lumia 1020's arrival.
Nokia India Managing Director P. Balaji stated, "The Nokia Lumia 1020 is a stunning device with imaging capabilities like no other smartphone. We believe it will further strengthen Nokia's leadership in imaging, which today plays a pivotal role in the lives of consumers."
The Lumia 1020's features include a 4.5-inch screen with 1,280x768 pixels covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The new Windows Phone 8 device has 32GB of internal storage for 2GB of RAM. The device includes a rear-facing camera with a 41-megapixel sensor and front-facing camera with 1.2 megapixels. The smartphone also packs a 2,000mAh battery.
