HTC Ones on AT&T's and Sprint's networks have already started receiving their Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updates, and it looks like the two other major U.S. carrier variants are on track to release the upgrade on time as well. According to HTC, both T-Mobile and Verizon should push out the HTC One Android 4.3 update by the end of October.

Soon after the AT&T HTC One update began rolling out on Tuesday, HTC America president Jason Mackenzie took to Twitter to inform fellow users that both the T-Mobile and Verizon updates were still on course to roll out as promised.

Mackenzie originally informed the public that Sprint would be the first to release Android 4.3 for the HTC One in early October, followed by AT&T and T-Mobile in mid-October and lastly, Verizon before the end of the month. From the way it's looking, Mackenzie's encouraging words imply that those dates will be honored.

The updates were originally all supposed to land in the beginning of October, but Mackenzie revealed near the end of September that the carrier certification process for the firmware was taking longer than expected.

HTC has been aggressively updating its flagship One handset as part of its efforts to stay afloat after poor quarterly earnings have caused many investors to doubt the company's longevity. HTC Ones in the United States will only receive Android 4.3 — there will be no new version of the Sense user interface included. Instead Sense 5.5 (the upcoming version of Sense) will be released alongside Android 4.3 for European and Asian HTC Ones sometime in November. HTC Ones that received the Android 4.3 update without Sense 5.5, such as those in the United States, will have to wait for Sense 5.5 to arrive in a later update.
