The iPhone 5 is reportedly outselling Apple's newest iPhone 5s in the United Kingdom.
Based on uSwitch's mobile sales chart, the iPhone 5 retained its title of the U.K.'s most popular smartphone during September. It was the seventh consecutive month the iPhone 5 kept first place.

The iPhone 5s didn't land in second place either. The iPhone 4s held second place based on live searches, pre-orders and sales analyzed by uSwitch.
Samsung's Galaxy S4 placed third while Apple made another appearance at fourth place with the iPhone 4.
Finally, the iPhone 5s makes an appearance on the uSwitch charts as it placed fifth. The fifth-place finish for the iPhone 5s was also the highest new entry for the month of September.
The iPhone 5c placed seventh, behind Samsung's Galaxy S3.
"The idea behind the iPhone 5C was to allow Apple to target the mid-range market with a new phone - negating the need for mobile fans to buy an older generation iPhone," said uSwitch's Telecoms Expert Ernest Doku. "With the 5C costing the same as the 5, this may well happen, but it hasn't yet. In fact, consumers are instead opting for the high end 5S - with a gold rush that's leaving the white and space grey models on the shelves."
The iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c launched in the U.K. on Sept 20.
As Latinos Post reported, Apple confirmed 9 million units of the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c were sold during its first weekend on Sept. 20. The Cupertino-based organization didn't reveal specific numbers for the iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c. The 9 million units for both phones were 4 million units more than the first-weekend sales of the iPhone 5 in September 2012, which sold 5 million units.
