Shakira, Selena Gomez, and Crisitano Ronaldo are the amongst the top 10 best social media superstars according to Forbes.
Shakira came in sixth place and was one of nine singers that made the list. Shakira generally uses social media to promote her new music and post photos about tours and vacations. She has 17.6 million twitter followers and 52.5 million Facebook followers. Recent news of her pregnancy likely will keep her followers engaged and bring in new ones; especially when she starts tweeting and posting pictures showing off her new curve. Wait to see what happens when the baby is born. Then the real spike will happen.
Cristiano Ronaldo came in at number seven as the only non-singer on the list and the only athlete in the top 10. Ronaldo has a humble media presence in which he thanks his teammates for their hard work and dedication. No boasting or pretentious comments from the man many believe to be the world's greatest soccer star. Ronaldo has 12 million Twitter followers and 47.5 million Facebook followers.
Finally Selena Gomez finished off the list at number 10. The singing-actress uses social media to promote Postcard on the Run, a company that she has invested in that turns iPhone photos into small postcards. She posts a ton of photos from her events and tours and even dates with boyfriend Justin Bieber who was number four on the list. She has 13.3 million Twitter followers and 33 million Facebook followers.
