Shakira Is Pregnant with "Ulicito," Colombian Magazine Confirms

After months of speculation, it seems that there is finally proof that Shakira is awaiting the child of Gerard Pique.

A Colombian magazine Gente announced in their latest issue that the Colombian superstar and her Spanish lover were awaiting their child which they have taken to calling "Ulicito."

According to Gente, the diva had her last ultrasound just ten days ago in Miami where Dr. Victor H. Gonzalez-Quintero told them that there was an 80 percent chance that the baby would be a boy.

There was also news that the child is expected in January and that Shakira will likely give birth through a Caesarian section.

The magazine also adds that Shakira has experienced headaches and dryness in her skin and has had a consistent craving for lime flavored sodas and hazelnut cream with chocolate.

Despite the magazine's information, Shakira and Pique have yet to make a formal announcement.

The Latin Superstar and soccer player Piqué started dating a few months after collaborating on the filming of the music video for the South Africa World Cup theme song "Waka Waka" (This Time for Africa). Soon after filming the video, reports emerged that that the two were dating even though the two were dating others at the time.

Shakira eventually made an official confirmation of their relationship on March 29, 2011, via Twitter and Facebook. Rumors promptly followed this past October that the two had ended their relationship, but Shakira's team denied the allegations.

Pique, 25, is currently a defender for FC Barcelona. He won the World Cup Championship with the Spanish National Team in South Africa in 2010. More recently he won the 2012 Euro Cup Championship with the Spanish squad.
