"After a good bit of sleuthing, we can confidently say that Samsung appears to be artificially boosting the US Note 3's benchmark scores with a special, high-power CPU mode that kicks in when the device runs a large number of popular benchmarking apps," noted the report by Ron Amadeo.
The report was good enough for Schiller to share, garnering over 1,620 retweets and favorited over 580 times.
It isn't the first time Schiller tweeted about a rival organization.
As Latinos Post reported in early March, Schiller attached a link with the statement "Be safe out there." The link transferred visitors to the "Mobile Threat Report" for the 2012's fourth quarter. The report, created by F-secure, elaborated on mobile threats. A major "mobile threat" and heavy focus of the report was the malware found on Google's mobile operating system, Android.
Schiller joined Apple in April 1997 and has been involved in launch events of devices such as the iPads, iPhones and iPod Touch devices.
According to Apple, Schiller has over 25 years of marketing and management experience, including twenty years at Apple in various marketing management positions; as the Vice President of Product Marketing at Macromedia, Inc. of San Francisco, Calif.; as the Director of Product Marketing at FirePower Systems, Inc. of Menlo Park, Calif.; as an Information Technology Manager at Nolan, Norton & Company of Lexington, Mass.; and as a Programmer and Systems Analyst at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Mass.
