HTC kicked off its Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update campaign for the flagship One smartphone earlier in the week, upgrading three models already. If HTC's promise over Twitter holds true, Canadian owners of the HTC One should expect to receive Android 4.3 along with the latest Sense user interface by the end of September.
A tweet by HTC president Jason Mackenzie confirmed that HTC would be rolling out Android 4.3 and the new Sense user interface to Canadian customers of the HTC One by the end of the month.
Good news – the latest Sense experience & Android 4.3 will push to One Dev Edition owners this week & One customers in Canada by month end.

The Canadian update will be the same as the ones released for the HTC One in Taiwan and HTC One Developer Edition. Those two weighed in around 550MB, indicating there'll be some big changes on the way, and that you'll want to have your HTC One charged up and tethered to some Wi-Fi. For HTC owners in the United States, the wait won't be long either. Mackenzie also revealed that HTC is currently in the process of getting the update certified by carriers.
We're still working hard & optimistic for U.S. carrier certification – stay tuned to @HTCUSA for more news soon. — Jason Mackenzie (@JasonMacHTC) September 23, 2013
This lines up with previous reports that U.S. HTC Ones should see the Android 4.3 update sometime in October. Sadly, unlike the upgrade in other parts of the world, it is rumored to not include the new Sense 5.5 user interface. Instead, U.S. customers will most likely have to wait a bit longer until carriers push out the new Sense separately.
An international rollout of Android 4.3 with Sense 5.5 is expected to happen in late October/early November.
