Barcelona's Argentinean center-back, Javier Mascherano, left the pitch during the match against Real Sociedad after suffering an accidental collision with his own teammate, Sergio Busquets. The injury in his inner thigh prevented Mascherano to continue playing after 38 minutes into the match held in the Camp Nou, on Tuesday, Sept. 24. Javier Mascherano was replaced by Marc Bartra.
Barcelona defeated Real Sociedad with a 4-1 score after Lionel Messi and Neymar's outstanding performances.
