Apple's latest smartphone's sales might be off to a good start for the Cupertino-based organization as the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s are either delayed or unavailable online and at retailers.
As Latinos Post reported, the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s launched at 3:01 a.m. EST on Sept. 20 on Apple's official website and for the top four mobile carriers in the United States - AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless.
Unfortunately for many Apple enthusiasts, the smartphones' demand were high.

On Apple.com, the iPhone 5s experienced the most shipment delays compared to the iPhone 5c.
The black and white models for the iPhone 5s are slated to ship in 7 to 10 business days regardless of the internal storage variant and the four aforementioned mobile carriers.
The gold iPhone 5s, however, encountered high demand or Apple had low inventory of the newest color option. The gold model of the iPhone 5s will ship to consumers in October, irrespective of the mobile carrier and internal storage model.
New Yorker and Sprint subscriber Maricruz Retana purchased the 32GB gold iPhone 5s on Apple's official website but ultimately encountered the shipment delay.
"I ordered my iPhone 5s at 7 a.m. and found out the phone was backordered until October," said Retana. "I did not expect this to happen as I ordered it so early in the morning and on the day it was released."
The iPhone 5c is faring slightly better when it comes to the shipment delays. Regardless of color or GB model, the iPhone 5c is set to ship between one to three business days.
In regards to features for the two new Apple smartphones, for the most part, it's the same specifications as the discontinued iPhone 5, such as the 4-inch Retina Display with 1,136x640 resolution, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, 1080p HD video rear-recording camera, to name a few.
For the iPhone 5c, a notable change is the addition of color options. The new smartphone will be offered in blue, green, pink, white, and yellow variants.
The iPhone 5s' differences are largely the fingerprint sensor and the A7 processor chip with 64-bit architecture, which plays a critical role with the Touch ID.
The iPhone 5c has been available for pre-orders since Sept. 13, but it is now available for purchase with the iPhone 5s across Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore, and United Kingdom.
