Ahead of the release of the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s, Walmart has revealed it will offer the new Apple smartphones at a cheaper cost than Apple.com.
Starting with the iPhone 5c, Walmart's starting price for the colorful iOS 7 smartphone is $79 when signing a two-year contract with AT&T, Sprint, or Verizon Wireless. The $79 price is valid for eligible upgrades as well.

The iPhone 5s is offered for $189 when agreeing on a two-year contract with the three aforementioned mobile carriers.
Apple.com, as well as AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon Wireless, are offering the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s at the full prices at $99 for the 16GB iPhone 5c and $199 for the 16GB iPhone 5s. Therefore, Walmart is offering a $20 savings for the iPhone 5c and $10 for the iPhone 5s.
In regards to features for the two new Apple smartphones, it is largely the same specifications as the discontinued iPhone 5, such as the 4-inch Retina Display with 1,136x640 resolution, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, 1080p HD video recording camera, to name a few.
For the iPhone 5c, a notable change is the addition of color options. The new smartphone will be offered in blue, green, pink, white, and yellow variants.
The iPhone 5s' differences are largely the fingerprint sensor and the A7 processor chip with 64-bit architecture, which plays a critical role with the Touch ID.
The iPhone 5c has been available for pre-orders since Sept. 13, but it will be available for purchase with the iPhone 5s on Sept. 20 across Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore, United Kingdom, and the United States.
