Sofía Vergara Spotted Wearing Engagement Ring After Wedding Cancelation Rumors

"Modern Family" star Sofía Vergara stepped on the set of her hit TV show wearing the engagement ring from fiancé Nick Loeb, the Daily Mail reported. The Colombian beauty and her boyfriend seem to be doing just fine after they reportedly had "an explosive fight" while on vacation in the Hamptons.

"Sofia rowed with Nick in front of everyone at the party last week. She said she is fed up with his wandering eye," said a source, according to the Daily Mail.

Vergara and Loeb got engaged during the actress' 40th birthday party last year. Loeb apparently proposed while the entourage was visiting the Mayan archaeological ruins of Chichen Itza in Mexico.

"They have split up before because of rumours of him cheating and she had heard from a close friend that he had cheated again. She's not prepared to put up with it any more. They have reconciled after rows before, but this one finished nastily so it's doubtful they'll get back together this time," the source added.

The couple met at a Golden Globes Party in 2010. They started dating in the same year. Apparently, the couple broke up in May only to reunite weeks later.

This will be Vergara's second marriage. She was previously wed to Joe Gonzalez, who was her childhood sweetheart. The two, who spilt in 1993, have a 20-year-old son, Manolo.

Back in August, during an interview with Extra, Vergara confessed she hasn't even had time to start planning her wedding, the Huffington Post reported.

"I did such a big party for my 40th birthday, that now either I do something really small or something even better than that," Vergara said in an interview with Mario Lopez.

The actress said that her 40th birthday party took her so much work and time that maybe she won't go for such a big wedding. Last year, Vergara threw a party with over 100 guests, fireworks and tequila bottles with her faces on them, the Huffington Post reported.

"I can't do something in the middle or the same, so I'm giving myself time and my assistant, because he would kill me if we have to start planning again a big party", the star explained. "So maybe I'll just do something very tiny. Like my son and my mother, and that's it."
