Colombian star Sofía Vergara will be one of the presenters at this year's Emmy Awards that will air live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sept. 22, Voxxi reported. The Latina diva will be joining Will Arnett, Alec Baldwin, Andre Braugher, Bryan Cranston, Claire Danes, Jimmy Kimmel and Margo Martindale, who are also set to present awards.
The 41-year-old actress was also nominated for the fourth time as "Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series" for her role as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on ABC's "Modern Family."
Vergara will compete against co-star and 2012 winner Julie Bowen, Mayim Bialik ("The Big Bang Theory"), Jane Lynch ("Glee"), Merritt Wever ("Nurse Jackie"), Jane Krakowski ("30 Rock") and Anna Chlumsky ("Veep"), according to Voxxi.
During last year's award ceremony, Vergara had a wardrobe malfunction just 20 minutes before "Modern Family" was announced winner. She laughed at the situation and shared pictures of her Zuhair Murad teal cut-out gown through her Twitter page.
That incident didn't stop her from having fun alongside her 19 family members that joined her at the after party. "I brought a lot of people from my family. They wanted to come here with me. There are 19 people, and they love coming here with me, so we have a great time," Vergara told Extra, according to Voxxi.
Recently, Vergara occupied first place on Forbes' list of the best paid television actresses in the United States. According to People en Español, the stunning actress received the sum of $30 million for completed projects and contracts during the period between June 2012 and June 2013.
Vergara has had a big year, managing to consolidate an enviable portfolio of promotional contracts for brands like Diet Pepsi, Covergirl and Rooms To Go, besides managing her own line of feminine clothing for Kmart.
The actress also made it to headlines when a trailer for the new movie "Fading Gigolo" hit the web. In the upcoming comedy, actor and director John Turturro goes above and beyond by doing a threesome with Vergara and Sharon Stone.
