"The X Factor" judge Demi Lovato shared a video where she talks about "Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year," an inspirational book that will include tweets she has written about her life. The 21-year-old star will also release a second book: a memoir about her struggles with drug addiction and her time in rehab.

"I'm a firm believer in starting the day off the right way with inspirational quotes and sort of a morning meditation, so I've put together 365 of my favorite quotes and a morning meditation for everybody," said the "Heart Break" singer in a 36-second video announcing her book deal.

Lovato seems to be back on track, after entering rehab for eating disorders and self-harm, the Huffington Post reported. She had been struggling with "emotional and physical issues" since childhood and sought help to deal with her demons.

"[It] played more of a toll on me than if I was physically abused in school. I've always said I wished that they had just hit me in the face and gotten it over with because what they said to me sticks to me to this day and it affected me, (turned) me into the person I am today," said Lovato in an interview with Katie Couric in her show "Katie," as quoted by USA Today last Sept. 2012.

"I was bullied and they called me fat and they called me horrible things," confessed the singer, according to Voxxi.

"It's something I don't really want to talk about," Lovato told Fabulous Magazine during an interview last year, as quoted by Huffington Post. "What I can say is that I was depressed. I would come off stage in front of 18,000 people and suddenly be alone in a hotel room. I'd come crashing down and would try to find a way to recreate that feeling, to stay 'up.'"

Recently, Lovato returned for another season of "The X Factor," where she will once again judge alongside singers Paulina Rubio, Kelly Rowland and show legend Simon Cowell. Rubio and Lovato had been photographed hugging and smiling, the Huffington Post reported. Rubio tweeted a picture captioned, "My little sister and she is learning español."
