Selena Gomez and Union J's George Shelley Hang Out

Former Disney star Selena Gomez reportedly invited British band Union J to her Portugal show and to an after party, according to the Huffington Post.

The 21-year-old star reportedly "drank and danced with the 'X Factor' fourth place finishers in her hotel room," the Post reported. Rumor has it that bandmate George Shelley stayed until 2 a.m., while the other boys left.

According to E! Online, Gomez has set her eyes on the British teen heartthrob. Gomez sent a video message to Shelley asking him for a date. "Hey, George, it's Selena. I was in London for a bit and I'm actually bummed I missed you, so next time maybe give me call," said the "Spring Breakers" star in a surprise message, the Mirror reported.

The video was played during the boys appearance on CBBC's "Friday Download," on June 7, Hollywood Life informed. According to this site, it was the idea of the show's producers to record Selena's message personally addressed to Shelley.

According to the British news site, Shelley was "pretty-shocked." "Selena's one of those massive celebrities who doesn't even know you exist, so I was gob-smacked", he told the Mirror. "I thought it was a lookalike at first. I could feel my cheeks going red and the lads laughed at me."

"I will try to call Selena beforehand so it's not too awkward when we meet. My perfect date would be to go the beach at night. We could have a little bonfire," he added.

Shelley was linked to Little Mix's Jesy Nelson, when the two were spotted together at V Festival earlier in August. But he denied the rumors and explained they're just friends, the Mirror published.

"It is not true I am dating Jesy Nelson," he said, according to the Huffington Post UK. "But we did go to V Festival together and it was fun. But you all know I'm a cuddly person. So it's fine."

"Jesy is one of my best mates. We're really close. Jesy wouldn't be at all annoyed if I met up with Selena - she'd probably want to come too," he told the Mirror.

But according to the Hollywood Reporter, Shelley has had a crush on Gomez for a long time. "I've got an undying crush on her," the 20-year-old singer has previously told Sugar Scape. "It's the whole Disney thing I love her."
