Now, the Lumia 521's price stands at $114.99, a savings of $35, or 23 percent. Amazon is also offering free shipping with the purchase of the Windows Phone 8 smartphone since the item cost more than $25.
The price cut comes as HSN also reduced the Lumia 521's price to $99.95, which is a $50 savings. And as we noted earlier, there's also a $20 coupon offer on the HSN deal.
T-Mobile, the exclusive carrier of the Lumia 521, sells the Nokia smartphone for $29.99 up front, but maintains its full retail price of $149.99. The consumer will have to pay $5 for the next 24 months.
The Lumia 521, which is 4G enabled, has a 4-inch touchscreen and 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording. When it comes to memory, the smartphone has 8GB of internal storage with 512MB of RAM. A microSD card slot is available for an additional 64GB of storage. The battery capacity for the Windows Phone 8 smartphone is 1,430mAh.
