GTA 5 News: Gameplay Cheats Leaked Online

Grand Theft Auto 5 is now available, giving gamers the chance to partake in all sorts of mayhem from commanding a fighter jet to running around the streets of Los Santos assaulting random pedestrians. However, some gamers may need an extra hand to create their desired level of chaos. Lucky for them the list of cheats for the game has been released by IGN, so gamers on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 can get a little added help. But be advised: players who enter these cheats will not be able to gain achievements/trophies during that game session.

Players trying to enter the cheats must do so on the controller's gamepad, and use the D-Pad for directional inputs. A small icon will appear onscreen when the cheats are successful.

Some useful cheats for the game include: raising the player's wanted level (R1, R1, CIRCLE, R2, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT for PlayStation 3; RB, RB, B, RT, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT for Xbox 360); lowering the wanted level (R1, R1, CIRCLE, R2, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT for PlayStation 3; RB, RB, B, RT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT for Xbox 360); and giving yourself explosive melee attacks (RIGHT, LEFT, X, TRIANGLE, R1, CIRCLE, CIRCLE, CIRCLE, L2 on PlayStation 3; RIGHT, LEFT, A, Y, RB, B, B, B, LT on Xbox 360). 

Players can also use cheats to spawn new vehicles in the game, and unlike Grand Theft Auto 4 users can spawn multiple vehicles at once. Some highlights include: being granted instant access to the Buzzard attack helicopter (CIRCLE, CIRCLE, L1, CIRCLE,CIRCLE, CIRCLE, L1, L2, R1, TRIANGLE, CIRCLE, TRIANGLE for PlayStation 3; B, B, LB, B, B, B, LB, LT, RB, Y, B, Y for Xbox 360); getting a stunt plane to travel the skies of Los Santos (CIRCLE, RIGHT, L1, L2, LEFT, R1, L1, L1, LEFT, LEFT, X, TRIANGLE on PlayStation 3; B, RIGHT, LB, LT, LEFT, RB, LB, LB, LEFT, LEFT, A, Y on Xbox 360).
