HTC Ones around the globe should be receiving an Android and Sense update over the next couple months, but thanks to RootzWiki, eager parties can already snag a leaked Android 4.3 Jelly Bean build for the AT&T model.

The firmware is by no means official, although its build date of September seems to indicate that AT&T is nearing a final version. Screenshots show that the firmware is Android 4.3 and runs Sense 5.0. The software number is listed as 3.10.502.2 and the HTC SDK API level is 5.4.4. If the leak is indicative of the upgrade, then it seems likely the rumors are accurate that the United States will only receive Android 4.3 initially, while international HTC Ones will get Android 4.3 with Sense 5.5. The newer version of Sense is expected to roll out in the United States in a separate update sometime after.

Remember that the firmware is unofficial, and it's always best to err on the side of caution and stay away until an official release if you're 100 percent sure on how to flash the device.

U.S. HTC One owners should begin seeing carriers pushing out Android 4.3 near the end of September, according to well-known HTC insider LlabTooFeR. International variants should then receive Android 4.3 with Sense 5.5 in October or November.

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is currently the latest version of the popular mobile operating system. Android 4.3 doesn't introduce any radical departures from the Jelly Bean interfaces of Android 4.1 and Android 4.2, although it does offer a tighter experience. The update also improves system performance and expandable, actionable notifications. Google is expected to release Android 4.4 KitKat sometime in October.
