With Apple set to launch the iPhone 5s on Sept. 20, it can prove to be competition within AT&T as it's the exclusive mobile carrier for the Nokia Lumia 920.
Despite the iPhone 5s being the newer model compared to Nokia's offering with the Lumia 920, the latter smartphone sports better specification figures than the Apple devices.

Starting with the display, the Lumia 920 has a screen size of 4.5-inches with 1,280x768 resolution and 332 pixels per inch (ppi). The iPhone 5s' screen is 0.5-inches smaller at 4 inches with 1,136x640 resolution but the same ppi as the Lumia 920.
When it comes to memory, the iPhone 5s offers more variety with 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB internal storage models. The Lumia 920 only offers a 32GB model. The two smartphones do not offer a microSD card slot.
The wireless connectivity remains the same as well for both Apple and Nokia smartphones with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, and microUSB version 2.0. The Lumia 920, however, can connect with NFC.
The Lumia 920 and iPhone 5s have the same specifications for the rear-facing camera with 8 megapixels and 3,264x2,448 pixels. The Lumia 920, however, promotes its Carl Zeiss optics while the iPhone 5s has the new True Tone Flash. The front-facing camera for the iPhone 5s stands at 1.2 megapixels while the Lumia 920 is at 1.3 megapixels.
When it comes to video recording with the rear-facing camera, the two smartphones utilize 1080p HD while the front-facing camera has 720p at 30 frames per second.
The mobile operating system for the Lumia 920 is the Windows Phone 8, but it is eligible to receive the Windows Phone 8 Amber Update. The iPhone 5s will come equipped with the new iOS 7.
The Lumia 920 utilizes the Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon dual-core processor with 1.5 GHz Krait as iPhone 5s has the new A7 chip at 1.7GHz.
When it comes to colors, the iPhone 5s will be available in its traditional black and white but also the new gold. Apple, however, is promoting the white model as "Space Gray." For the Lumia 920, the device is offered in black, cyan, red, yellow, and white.
According to GSMArena, the iPhone 5s has a battery capacity of 1,570mAh, which offers up to 250 hours on standby and 10 hours of talk time when under a 3G network. The Lumia 920 has 2,000mAh for up to 400 hours of standby and 10 hours for talk time when on a 3G network.
Finally, when it comes to prices, the iPhone 5s will be offered for $199 for the 16GB model and signing a two-year contract with carriers AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon Wireless. The 32GB model cost $299 while the 64GB is an additional $100. The Lumia 920 is priced at $49.99 when signing a two-year contract, and the device is exclusive to AT&T.
