We've already seen that Samsung is rumored to release the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 soon after its unveiling, which has been confirmed for the Samsung Unpacked 2013: Episode 2 event in Berlin on Sept. 4. Now a new report has a specific release date for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
According to ePrice, a Taiwanese tech site (via Android Authority), the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will launch in Taiwan on Sept. 27. This jives with previous anonymously sourced reports that said the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 would have a release date sometime in late September, with the Samsung Galaxy Gear, the company's first smartwatch accessory that is going to debut on Sept. 4 as well, following right behind in the weeks after. The Taiwanese site ePrice also said the pre-order date for the brand new flagship phablet is set for Sept. 16.
While the specific date may change a little, according to ePrice, the general time frame is not expected to be altered very much. And if ePrice's sources are correct - as well as the rumored release window - one would expect the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to be hitting the shelves of other markets, including the U.S., in the same time frame. And according to SamMobile, which has other Samsung insiders for sources and has been a reliable place for such information to leak, ePrice is usually "on the money" with rumors.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to have a 5.58-inch Full High Definition Super AMOLED display, powered (at least at first) by a quad core Snapdragon 800 processor at 2.3GHz, along with 3GB of RAM. Later, after some design bugs are fixed, a version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with the company's octa-core Exynos processor is expected to make an appearance in select markets. Other rumored specs include a 13-megapixel main camera, 32GB or 64GB internal storage options with a microSD card slot, a 3,200 mAh battery, and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean right out of the box.
We're expecting more rumors and leaks to happen in the week leading up to the Samsung event, so stay with Latinos Post Tech for the latest.
