The HTC One has now hit every major carrier in the U.S., but there may be a little more on the way. As has been recently seen in some leaked photos - first from China's Weibo and now spotted in the "wild" on a rapid transit car in Taiwan, according to GSMInsider. Along with the leaked renders, exposed by @Evleaks long ago, the rumors of a Blue HTC One seem to be adding up.
In addition, the most recent photo is of further value because it shows the probable HTC One blue edition in real life lighting conditions. The Weibo-leaked photo was taken up close with flash, making the blue appear much lighter than it looks like it actually will be. In the real world lighting of a transit car, the HTC One blue edition looks like a nice dark, metallic navy.
As for a place where one can get a blue HTC One? PhoneArena is saying that the blue HTC One is coming out for Verizon as a competing color option to Sprint's red variant. They're giving it a release date of Aug. 29, which is Thursday, the same day as the Verizon Moto X release. No sources have been given for this release date though, so take that reported date with a grain of salt.
The HTC One was released most recently by Verizon wireless earlier this month, with other carriers having released the device months ago. The HTC One comes with a 4.7-inch Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen display, with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, packing 468 pixels per inch. The device is powered by a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, clocked at 1.7GHz and assisted by 2GB f RAM. It comes in either the 32GB or 64GB varieties (but choose carefully, because with the solid body aluminum chassis, there's no microSD card slot for memory expansion). Other specs include a 4-megapixel "Ultrapixel" camera and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera.
