If you are one of the many people currently baffled at what "twerking" really is, you are not alone! Watch German guy, Flula who's just as baffled and learn from an "expert" on what this "movementing" really is about.
Ever since Miley Cyrus' performance took place Sunday night at the VMA, twerking and twerk has made its way to Google's hot searches and MSN's trending topics. While we all know that twerking is rather complicated in terms of execution, you will be amazed at how much more complicated and technical it'll sound when defined by an expert!
ABC News has shed light on twerking-baffled individuals such as Flula by interviewing professor of exercise science and a certified strength and conditioning coach at Auburn University in Montgomery, Ala., Michelle Olson. So what is twerking, really? "You take a wide stance with your legs turned out at 10 and 2 so your hips are externally rotated. Then you pulse up and down as you thrust the pelvis bone forward and back," said Olsen. If that's too technical for you, stick to Flula's description of "the booty having seizures" and you'll get the picture.
