Beauty pageant contestants exude confidence, beauty and sense - well, at least most of them. Check out these responses from Miss Philippines USA Joanlia Lising and other beauty pageant contestants from around the world.
The opening production, the introduction, the swimsuit competition, the long gown competition, the talent competition and the dreaded question and answer portion are what constitute a beauty pageant.
For the most part, beauty pageant contestants do no more than smile and wave at the crowd, walk with confidence and sway those hips.
The only time they seem to be talking is when they introduce themselves in varying pitches using a dialogue that's been practiced far too many times - it'll be a miracle if they still don't get it right! If only they could also practice the perfect answer to their would-be question, they wouldn't send the crowd shrinking in embarrassment or speechless in horror. The most recent episode is during the Miss Philippine's USA beauty pageant with contestant Joanlia Lising. And yes, Joanlia - to see is to believe. That's why we think you should see her video below!
