The Lumia 920 handset costs $99.99 when directly buying and signing a two-year contract with exclusive carrier AT&T, but with Amazon the 920's starting price is a mere $0.01 for new AT&T customers who sign up for either an individual plan or family plan.
The U.S. penny price is also valid for existing AT&T customers who want to add a new line of service for either an individual plan or family plan.
The price increases to $49.99 for current AT&T customers who want to upgrade their device. The $49.99 offer is only eligible for the black and red models of the Lumia 920.
The yellow model of the Lumia 920, however, is $39.99 for current customers who want to upgrade.
Amazon's "Without a Service Plan" cost for the black, red, and yellow models is $529.99.
As of Aug 18., the cyan and white models became unavailable at Amazon.
The Lumia 920 smartphone has a screen size of 4.5 inches, 32GB of internal storage with 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with 3,264x2,448 pixels with LED flash, Bluetooth 4.0, an NFC chip and a 2,000 mAh battery capacity.
