Three months after its launch, Verizon Wireless has significantly reduced the price of the Nokia Lumia 928 Windows Phone 8 smartphone.
The carrier is offering the Lumia 928 for free when signing a two-year contract. The device, however, has temporarily run out of stock online.

Verizon Wireless introduced the Lumia 928 in early May for $99 when signing a two-year contract with the carrier, but has since started slashing the device's prices.
At one point in June, Verizon Wireless offered the Lumia 928 at $49.99.
The free price tag comes as Amazon.com offered the Windows Phone 8 smartphone for $0.01 when signing a two-year contract with Verizon Wireless. As Latinos Post reported, the $0.01 price tag is valid for both current and new Verizon Wireless customers who want to sign in either an individual plan or family plan.
The Lumia 928's features include a 4.5-inch display with 1,280x768 pixels. The Lumia 928 also comes with 32GB internal storage and 1GB of RAM and no card microSD card slot. When it comes to the photography, the rear-facing camera has 8 megapixels with 3,264x2,448 pixels and Carl Zeiss optics. The front-facing camera, meanwhile, has 1.3 megapixels. The smartphone can also record at 1080p at 30 frames per second.
