Google's latest mobile operating system has started to make a dent in North American web traffic, according to Chitika's Insights' newest research.
The latest Android update, Jelly Bean 4.3, launched with Google's Nexus devices, and Chitika reported the operating system is accountable for 37 percent of the web traffic from Nexus-type devices.

The remaining percentage from the Nexus-type devices is running on Android 4.0 or higher.
The statistics are based on data from Canada and the U.S., and typically consist of approximately 300 million ad impressions. The data was collected between July 24 and July 31.
As Latinos Post reported, Google unveiled Jelly Bean 4.3 on July 24 and is expected to rollout to other Android-based devices in due course. Jelly Bean 4.3 has started its rollout for the Nexus 4, Nexus 7, and Nexus 10.
The latest Android update features improvements and enhancements for the dial pad, keyboard input, location detection, wireless connectivity, and the ability to restrict profiles, to name a few.
