ESPN sports analysts Skip Bayless didn't back off when he used the word "shame" to describe Tiger Woods' "habit" of winning tournaments prior to Grand Slam championships, only to suffer a meltdown on majors weekends.

On Monday's ESPN "First Take" forum, the popular sports analyst admitted he has also thought before about Woods ending his Grand Slam drought following a victory in a majors prelude tournament. However, he found out the harsh reality that Woods doesn't have the kind of poise anymore that made him the most dominant Grand Slam performer of the last decade.

Bayless, who predicted another Woods meltdown in the upcoming PGA Championship, still believes the world's No. 1 golfer is the best iron player in the tour. On the other hand, he thinks the inconsistency in Woods' driving and putting on majors weekend is causing more troubles in his game.

"During majors drought, Tiger now 0-7 in majors after winning prelude tourney. Fool me once, shame on you - 7 times, shame on me. No way PGA," said Bayless.

"Tiger still world's best iron player. But shaky w/ puttter on majors weekends and still can't drive the ball consistently. Pressure building." Bayless posted on his Twitter account.

Coming off a seven-stroke victory at the Bridgestone Invitational, Woods heads into Thursday's PGA Championship as the favorite to bag the crown and eventually end his five-year Grand Slam drought.

Still, many golf analysts are not convinced Woods is finally ready to shake off his Grand Slam woes, especially after his fourth round collapse in last month's British Open in Muirfield Golf Links in Scotland.

Then again, despite all the criticism being thrown to Woods, his girlfriend Lindsey Vonn has remained supportive.

Vonn, whose relationship with the world's most popular golfer became public earlier this year, celebrated Tiger's 79th PGA Tour victory by calling him the greatest of all-time on her Twitter account.
