Microsoft's Windows Phone has launched a new advertisement for the new Nokia Lumia 1020 camera phone.
Following the trend of the last several Nokia smartphones, the commercial focuses on the camera abilities of the Windows Phone 8 device. Titled, "The Windows Phone Nokia Lumia 1020-41MP and reinvented zoom," the advertisement shows eight different scenarios of why someone might need a camera. The different scenes range from being at a concert, a soccer game, beach, and aquarium.

"For the billions of smartphone photographers, the first smartphone to put the camera first," noted the narrator of the Windows Phone advertisement.
As Latinos Post reported, one of the biggest selling points for the Lumia 1020 is the 41-megapixel rear-facing camera sensor. According to Nokia, the Windows Phone 8 smartphone introduces the second-generation of the optical image stabilization (OIS), following the Lumia 920. The Lumia 1020 also features the latest xenon flash and video-light LED not previously installed in any Nokia phone.
The Lumia 1020 rear-facing camera can take 34-megapixel images under 16:9 aspect ratio and 38 megapixels in 4:3 aspect ratio. The device can also capture 5-megapixel images.
AT&T, the exclusive carrier of the Lumia 1020, started selling the device on July 26. The Lumia 1020 costs $299.99 when signing a two-year contract. The one-year contract will increase the price tag to $549.99. Finally, AT&T's month-to-month price will cost the consumer the regular price of $659.99.
AT&T, however, is offering a new plan known as "AT&T Next." The Lumia 1020's price with AT&T Next will be significantly lower at $33 for the next 20 months.
The Lumia 1020's features include a 4.5-inch screen with 1,280x768 pixels covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The new Windows Phone 8 device has 32GB of internal storage for 2GB of RAM. A front-facing camera with 1.2 megapixels. The Lumia 1020 also packs 2,000mAh battery.
