Following the launch of the Nokia Lumia 1020, the Finnish company may be working on a 4.7-inch phablet.

As seen on China's radio communications device regulator, TENAA, and the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Nokia is working on a device likely named the Lumia 625.

According to TENNA, listed as Lumia 625H, the device has 4.7-inch WVGA display with Super Sensitive Touch. The Lumia 625H has 512MB of RAM and runs on 2,000mAh battery capacity for its 1.2GHz dual-core processor.

A report of the device was submitted to the FCC in late May with device number "FCC_RM-941_03." The device, although not listed as the Lumia 625, has similarities in size to the TENNA image. According to the FCC report, the device has internal antennas for both cellular and WLAN use.

The discovery of the device in China and FCC documents comes a week after Nokia launched the Lumia 1020 in New York City. The Lumia 1020 packs a 41-megapixel rear-facing camera and is set go on sale next week with exclusive carrier AT&T.

As Latinos Post reported on Thursday, Nokia released its second-quarter earnings and revealed it has gained 7.4 million units. Nokia CEO Stephen Elop credited the success to the Lumia 520 due to the device becoming the "most affordable Windows Phone 8 product" and its performance in China, France, and India.
