Samsung Galaxy S4 owners on three of the four major U.S. carriers can now enjoy an update that not only frees up some memory space, but also brings some nifty features for businesses.

The update, which first landed on Sprint, is now available to those on AT&T and Verizon networks. Oddly enough, Verizon isn't pushing the upgrade out over the air like AT&T and Sprint are, but Verizon users can download the firmware via the Software Upgrade Assistant. The updates do weigh in at around 350MB, so if you're snagging it off the air be sure to have the phone charged and tethered to a Wi-Fi connection.

The firmware, however, will lock up the bootloader, meaning bad news for those who like custom ROMS.

To increase available onboard storage, users will now be able to move apps over to the SD card, since it was found out soon after the Galaxy S4's launch that a 16GB model only came with 9GB of free space thanks to all of Samsung's software. It's not much, but should allow Galaxy S4 owners a little bit more leeway.

Alongside the memory-freeing features is the Samsung Knox suite for business users. Knox allows for employers and employees to set up the right enterprise security measures so that the same phone can be used for both personal and professional matters. Knox is just one of Samsung's many attempts at making its devices more business-friendly and competing with other notable enterprise phones including Blackberries and iPhones.
