Microsoft may be set to debut the 256GB Surface with Windows 8 Pro tablet in North America.
Spotted via WPCentral, CDW.com, an authorized vendor for Microsoft, has the 256GB model. CDW noted the tablet is available for purchase but with an approximate shipping date of next week.

CDW has priced the 256GB Surface with Windows 8 Pro at $1,199.99. The vendor does offer a lease option of $37.44 per month, but only valid for businesses, not individuals.
The 256GB Surface with Windows 8 Pro features 4GB of RAM with 1,920x1,080 pixels. The tablet also comes with a one-year warranty.
As Latinos Post reported, the 256GB Surface with Windows 8 Pro made its launch in Japan last month. The tablet's cost in Japan is 99,800 Yen, which converts to U.S.$1,187.
The International Data Corporation (IDC) noted Microsoft shipped 900,000 units of the Surface tablets. The unit figures equate to 1.8 percent of the first-quarter market share for 2013. The percentage represents both Surface with Windows RT and Surface with Windows 8 Pro tablets, however, IDC noted most of the shipments were of the latter.
