Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 has been tipped for a reveal around the IFA electronics trade show in Berlin, and it now looks like we have a possible exact date for the announcement: Sept. 4.

According to Android Geeks, Samsung will apparently send out invites to the media sometime in August for a Samsung Unpacked event that will take place Sept. 4. This strategy is similar to the one Samsung employed to the Galaxy Note 2 - Samsung held an Unpacked event where the phablet was unveiled right before IFA 2012 kicked off. IFA 2013 is schedule to run from Sept. 6 to Sept. 11.

"Well, we were able to get in touch to a person close to the matter, who was capable to provide some details regarding the Galaxy Note 3 release date. Just like everybody was anticipating, he said that the Galaxy Note 3 will indeed be introduced in September, just head of IFA Berlin 2013," writes Android Geeks.

Samsung has not officially confirmed nor denied the report, but this isn't the first piece of the puzzle that seems to fit.

Recent reports have all pointed to a September release, with mass production of the phablet beginning in August. This sales strategy will allow Samsung to unleash a top-of-the-line flagship device to compete with Apple's upcoming fall lineup that is expected to include a new iPhone 5S.

The Galaxy Note 3 is rumored to have a 5.7-inch or 6-inch 1080 screen, either an Exynos 5 Octa eight-core or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset, 3GB RAM, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, and the latest iterations of Android and the S Pen stylus.
