iOS 7 features changes to screenshot alerts, which could signal trouble for the Snapchat app.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Apple's next mobile operating system will not alert a sender of a photo if their picture was given the screenshot treatment.

The failure to notify the sender of the photo does affect Snapchat, which currently does notify the sender if the recipient took a screenshot.
The iOS 7 is in its second beta stage, and with the beta 2 version, it does not address the screenshot concern. The Snapchat app therefore cannot detect if a screenshot was taken, regardless of the Apple device, such as an iPad or iPhone.
There is hope for Snapchat users. Since iOS 7 is not widely available for the public until this fall, Snapchat could provide an update to fix the issue.
By visiting Apple's Developer page, people can download iOS 7 beta as long as they have an iOS developer account, which cost $99 per year through Apple. The iOS 7 beta is prone to potential bugs and crashes since it is still in its early stages, which is why Apple promotes the beta version, to avoid such occurrences ahead of its full launch.
