Apple's 7.9-inch tablet is set to debut in Brazil early next week, eights months after its U.S. release.

The iPad mini will go on sale on June 25. While prices have not been confirmed, retailers FNAC, Fast Shop, and Saraiva will sell the device.

FNAC stated it will reveal prices on June 25 as it will accept orders online at 8 a.m. local time.

According to Apple Insider, the debut of the Apple tablet in Brazil is significant, as the country is developing to be among the world's largest economies and with approximately 200 million people. Apple also has manufacturing operations in Brazil, courtesy of partner Foxconn.

The iPad mini includes a 7.9-inch LED-backlit display, rear-facing 5-megapixel iSight camera, Bluetooth version 4.0, FaceTime HD front-facing camera, up to 10 hours for battery life, and a an A5 chip.
