This fall will be an exciting time for gamers, as they prepare for the launch of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
In addition, the Wii U will have several titles lined up to try and reinvigorate interest in the struggling system. We look at some of the games that could make an impact this fall for the consoles.
It wouldn't be a PlayStation launch without "Killzone," and Killzone: Shadow Fall is shaping up to be another solid launch title for Sony. With amazing graphics and intense action, it looks like the game will really show off what the PlayStation 4 can do. Knack is another PlayStation 4 exclusive that is shaping up (literally) to be a big hit. Knack puts players in the shoes of a robotic creature that can alter his size and shape to get past obstacles, and could be a unique title that brings in gamers looking to play something other than violent shooters.
The Xbox One will have a big hit on their hands with "Dead Rising 3," which will be available at launch. Being able to explore an open world while creating insane weapons to kill zombies is a powerful hook. Killer Instinct will be returning as an Xbox One exclusive, and old-school fighting game fans may want to pick up this title and start the madness all over again.
The Wii U may not have a new Metroid title coming this fall, but The Wonderful 101 seeks to bring a new IP to the Nintendo roster. Described as a "mass hero action" title, players must use all the different super-powered heroes to save the world. And oh course The Legend of Zelda HD Remake will be available in October, giving players the chance to set sail once again with the cell-shaded Link. Mario 3D World will also launch this December.
Each of these titles have the potential to be big hits for their respective systems, and we shall see how well they do once the leaves start dropping.
