Avid tipster @evleaks is at it again, this time with a new bit concerning the Motorola Moto X phone. It seems that the insider has gotten his (or her) hands on a picture allegedly taken by the Moto X.
The image was revealed by @evleaks on Twitter June 19, and was accompanied by a simple "Taken with a Motorola moto x" tagline. The initial picture was condensed, but @evleaks complied by with requests and posted up the full resolution image, posted above, soon after.

If the photograph was indeed taken by the Moto X (there's no data attached), then it's a good indicator of what the Moto X's camera will be able to do. Nothing has been confirmed, and @evleaks has been wrong sometimes in the past, so be sure to take the quality with a grain of salt.
It wasn't too long ago that @evleaks revealed what he (or she) claims are the specs for the upcoming Moto X. According to @evleaks, the handset will be equipped with a 720p display, a 1.7GHz dual-core MSM8960 Pro chipset, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, a 10-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and Android 4.2.2.
While the rumored specs make the Moto X look rather lackluster compared to other flagship phones like the Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One, the smartphone boasts an interesting trump card. According to Motorola, the Moto X is equipped with sensors that allow it to tell if it's in a pocket or barreling down the road in a car. Once it figures out where it is, the phone will apparently adjust its functionality to better suit the user.
The Motorola Moto X is currently slated for an October release, according to a Motorola executive.
