Deep Silver has let fans vote on what they want to see in the collector's edition of Saints Row 4, and today Gamespot announced the winner of that contest. Without further ado, the special $99 Collector's Edition of Saints Row 4 is the Super Dangerous Wub Wub Edition.
This special bundle is highlighted by a replica of one of the most unique and fun weapons that will be appearing in Saints Row 4. The package will include a specially made 12" model of the game's dubstep gun, complete with working sound and lasers. In addition, a statue of Johnny Gat is included with a Dubstep Doomsday button thrown in for good measure.
In addition to all these real world goodies, several in-game bonuses will be provided in the Collector's Edition of Saints Row 4. The Super Dangerous Wub Wub Edition will have all the bonuses found in the Commander in Chief version of the game. This includes the powerful 'Merica weapon, an Uncle Sam suit for your character, and the Screaming Eagle jet, which is shaped like a bald eagle and screeches as it shoots missiles. The game will also have alternative box art in the special editions of the game.
Saints Row 4 puts players in another open-world free-for-all, which players having to deal with alien invaders along with all the other mayhem that can be expected from a Saints Row game. New to the game, besides the dubstep gun, is a ray gun that causes enemies (or unfortunate NPCs) head's to expand and explode. Superpowers have also been added to the game, adding a new layer of madness to the already insane gameplay. Saints Row 4 will be available on August 20 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
