With one week left before Apple's annual developers' conference, the Cupertino-based company released the WWDC app.
The Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) app launched for both iPhone and iPad devices today.
According to Apple, "Make the most of the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference with the WWDC app. Even if you can't join us in San Francisco, you can still follow along each day - session videos are just a tap away for all Registered Apple Developers."
Features in the app include times, locations, and descriptions for all sessions of the five day conference. Users are able to favorite the scheduled sessions, watch videos with on-demand capabilities, and receive the latest notifications about the conference. Apple is also offering users to provide feedback on each session and its speakers.
The WWDC app requires iOS 6.1 or later and has a size of 4.5MB.
The annual conference will take place at San Francisco's Moscone West with more than 100 technical sessions planned, according to Apple's Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing Philip Schiller.
"Our developers have had the most prolific and profitable year ever, and we're excited to show them the latest advances in software technologies and developer tools to help them create innovative new apps," said Schiller. "We can't wait to get new versions of iOS and OS X into their hands at WWDC."
Tickets to attend WWDC were priced at $1,599 and were quickly sold out in late April. Apple noted you must be a member of the iOS Developer Program, iOS Developer Enterprise Program, or the Mac Developer Program to purchase a ticket.
