343 Industries is looking for someone to take the already legendary Halo multiplayer experience to a new level. A new job listing is looking for somebody to work on the series and bring it into the next-gen, as Halo 5 and 6 are already confirmed as part of the Reclaimer Trilogy for the Xbox One. As it says in the listing:
"343 Industries is looking for a dynamic and experienced creative contributor who has a passion to design the world's greatest games. As a Multiplayer Designer on the Halo team, you will be responsible for implementation and execution of features within the competitive multiplayer [PVP] experience. The 343 competitive multiplayer team designs, implements, and executes on the player-versus-player experience, including game modes, map feedback, moment-to-moment gameplay balancing, and cross-team collaboration."
It sounds like 343 Industries is trying to bring the Halo franchise, which is already highly regarded based of the original Halo trilogy made by Bungie and the recently released Halo 4, to a new level of multiplayer action. it will be interesting to see how the Halo series evolves as 343 Industries comes into their own with their inherited franchise and the new technology of the Xbox One allows for greater freedom for the developer to push the franchise into new territory.
Halo 4 was met with success and praise both from critics and fan of the Halo series, even those who were against a new developer taking over the series. 343 is also working on Halo Bootcamp, which is rumored to be a PC port of Halo 3 that has long been rumored. Halo is also getting a live-action television adaptation with involvement from Steven Spielberg which was announced during the Xbox One reveal. Check in here for all the latest Halo updates, including potential announcements during E3 June 9-11.
