Microsoft has reached a milestone with its Office 365 Home Premium service.
Microsoft Office Division's Corporate Vice President of Marketing John Case posted a thank you message on the Office blog in regard to the Office 365 Home Premium reaching over one million subscribers in just about 100 days.
"Today, thanks to you, the new Office is officially the best-selling Office edition yet, with more than one sold every second on average since it launched," wrote Case.
To commemorate the occasion, an infographic was revealed showing how long it took to reach one million subscribers compared to other organizations such as Hulu Plus, Spotify, Dropbox, Facebook and Foursquare. Office 365 Home Premium managed to attract one million subscribers faster than the aforementioned services, but it did note Instagram's accomplishment of reaching a million in less than 100 days.
Case then highlighted how Office 365 has benefited families such as a mother of six who is also a full-time support manager.
"I feel like Office 365 Home Premium helps me be a better mom overall and more focused on the relationships in our house, not keeping up with schedules, schoolwork and the mountain of paper," shared Suzanne Emberton on the Office blog.
The corporate vice president of marketing is encouraging Office 365 subscribers to share their experiences on their Facebook page with the idea to publish a few of the favorites on a future blog post.
