Battlefield 4 fans curious about the game's multiplayer will not have to wait long to see it in action. EA has revealed that during E3 on June 10 they will be showing off the multiplayer of the game during their pre-show conference, VG24/7 reports and the Battlefield Blog confirms with a special image. The blog post also has this to say about the news:

"We've heard from millions of fans that multiplayer is what you want to see most - The wait is almost over," the post reads.

"E3 2013 will feature hours of Battlefield 4 multiplayer footage; both at the special EA event on June 10th and streaming live from the E3 showroom floor where we will be inviting attendees to play and compete in Battlefield 4 multiplayer ...Not coming to E3? No problem. You will be able to catch live streams of the entire E3 experience, including extensive footage from live, unscripted multiplayer matches, complete with commentary."

Furthermore, the blog post also confirms that The China Rising DLC will be available for the game sometime after release. The DLC will include four brand-new maps for the game set in, you guessed it, China. Brand-new vehicles and equipment will be available on the DLC, which will be free to those who preorder the game.

Battlefield 4 is the latest entry into the popular series, which serves as the main rival to the massively popular Call of Duty series produced by Activision. It will be interesting to see how Battlefield 4 and the massively hyped Call of Duty:Ghosts compare to each other, especially on the next-gen versions of both games. No word yet if Sony and Battlefield will continue to have a special deal for exclusively timed DLC like in the past, or if EA's new partnership with Microsoft will end that. Battlefield 4 will be out Oct. 29 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions confirmed as well.
