A mockup of Apple's Safari browser for the iOS 7 has been created using the 7.9-inch iPad mini for the concept.
The video, uploaded by AppleMe, used the iPad mini to display different Safari tabs like Pinterest, Tumblr, Google, eBay, iCloud and Twitter, to name a few. The tabs and bookmarks features on the Apple browser can be seen and moved in a photo album-type algorithm.
"We have integrated a dashboard for the tabs and a scrollable bookmarks page," stated AppleMe.
"In this concept we made [an] all new Safari with a new search and address bar at the top and no icons at the bottom."
The video concept, which utilized the soundtrack infamously used in previous Apple commercials, Rob Simonsen's "Falcon Hero," was designed by Marc Haesen and animated by Tim Nikischin.
The latest concept appeared as Apple is reportedly going for a "flat" design. The term "flat" refers to simplicity and may see the upcoming mobile operating system move away from heavy textures as seen in current Apple mobile platforms' icons.
The "flat" design is allegedly the idea of Apple's Senior Vice President of Industrial Design Jonathon Ive, according to the Wall Street Journal.
iOS 7 is expected to debut at the Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco, which will take place between June 10 and June 14. According to Apple, over 1,000 Apple engineers will be present for more than 100 technical sessions covering developing, deploying and integrating technologies utilized by the Cupertino-based company.
