The wait is almost over for Xbox fans, as Microsoft is prepared to reveal the latest next gen Xbox to the public tomorrow, May 21. Those interested in watching the event can do so online on Xbox Live or Xbox.com, and the event will also be broadcast live on Spike TV. The event begins at Ten A.M Pacific Standard Time, so fans on the East Coast will have to tune in at One P.M in order to watch. But what can expect from Microsoft during this big reveal?

Microsoft will most likely have lots of technical talk during the reveal, so that during E3 they can focus more on the games that will accompany the machine. There have been many rumors about what runs underneath the next Xbox's hood, and it will be interesting to see if Microsoft follows Sony's lead and designs their console like a high-end PC. Another pressing matter is whether the new system will allow for offline play, or if the always-online rumors are true. Rumors have gone back and forth on the issue, so hopefully Microsoft clarifies this issue quickly. Other hardware questions include if the device will ship with a Kinect, and if the new Xbox will use blu-rays.

It will also be interesting to see what and how many games Microsoft will confirm for the next Xbox tomorrow, given that we are closing in on E3, and the company has hinted that they will split up information between tomorrow's event and the June conference. Some games expected for the system include Assassin's Creed 4, A new Forza title, Battlefield 4, and Bungie's Destiny. Most developers have refused to confirm that their games are coming to the system, but instead insist that their games are coming to "other next-gen consoles" besides the PlayStation 4.

In any case, considering we do not even know what the console will be called yet, any news that Microsoft can deliver tomorrow is welcome.
