The Nokia Lumia 925 is about one month away from its U.S. launch, but eager customers can start registering for more information on the Windows Phone 8 smartphone now.
The new Lumia smartphone, which was announced by Nokia on Wednesday in London, has been confirmed for T-Mobile and although the carrier isn't accepting pre-orders just yet, it is allowing customers to sign up for the latest update on the Lumia 925.
Potential customers will be required to submit their first and last names, email address, respond if they are a current T-Mobile customer (although you don't have to be a T-Mobile customer to recieve the updates), and in what language they would like their update to be in - either English or Spanish.
Meanwhile, Nokia has released an advertisement for the upcoming Windows Phone 8 smartphone titled "Best photos in low light." The advertisement presents a group of friends using the Lumia 925's camera, poolside, trying out the Carl Zeiss optics of the 8.7 megapixel rear-facing camera and 1.2 megapixels for the front-facing camera.
The Lumia 925 is the latest Nokia device to heavily promote its camera capabilities along with the Lumia 928, which has been confirmed to launch for Verizon Wireless tomorrow (May 16).
Other features for the Lumia 925 include a 4.5-inch display with 1,280x768 pixels and a 2,000mAh battery capacity for the 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. The maximum standby time is 440 hours and just over 12 hours of talk time under a 3G network. The Lumia 925's wireless connection include the latest Bluetooth and NFC.
