Verizon Nokia Lumia 928 Specs Video: Sales Pitch by Carrier Hits Internet

Verizon Wireless is approximately 48 hours away from launching the Nokia Lumia 928, and the carrier is making the effort with a new promotional sales pitch video.

The video, presented by Brian Topps, introduced the Lumia 928 discussed the features of the Windows Phone 8 4G LTE smartphone.

Topps attempts to relate the Lumia 928 as a device used for personal gain or family moments, such as attending a concert or attending a child's recital.

As it has been evident since the Lumia 928's confirmation last week, the smartphone's promotion will heavily feature its camera abilities. For example, one of the first aspects to be covered in the promotional video is the PureView Camera, which will provide backside illumination, optical image stabilization, a bright Xenon flash, and multiple "high-performance" microphones.

Additional features presented by Topps are Nokia Music, navigation, apps, and the Live Tiles.

The 4G LTE enabled smartphone has a 4.5-inch display with 1,280x768 pixels. The Lumia 928 also comes with 32GB internal storage and 1GB of RAM and no card microSD card slot. When it comes to the photography, the rear-facing camera has 8 megapixels with 3,264x2,448 pixels and Carl Zeiss optics. The front-facing camera, meanwhile, has 1.3 megapixels. The smartphone can also record at 1080p at 30 frames per second.

The Lumia 928 will cost the consumer $99.99 when signing a two-year contract. With the purchase from a Verizon retailer, $25 of Microsoft credit will be provided for app purchases from the Windows Phone Store.
