Samsung Galaxy S4 Active Release Date: Mid-July in Metallic Orange, Mini Due Same Week (Rumor)

Rumor site SamMobile has a list of Samsung's summer release dates it attributes to inside sources.

The list shows specific release date targets for the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, a rugged, waterproof version of Samsung's new flagship phone, as well as the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom, a mid-tier version of the phone with a 16-megapixel camera. The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini also makes the list.

All the phones will come in white or black except the Active; right now it looks like that only comes in Metallic Orange, though it's hard to believe that will be the only color choice.

Of course, none of these dates have been confirmed, but they do line up with dates we've heard previously for each of the models individually. As for specs, those are still in the works, but they're essentially variations on the base Galaxy S4.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 features a 1.6GHz eight-core Exynos 5 Octa processor or a 1.9GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor (depending on country), 2GB of RAM, a 5-inch 1920x1080 Full HD AMOLED display at 441 ppi, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video, a 2-megapixel front facing camera, internal storage between 16 and 64GB, an SD card slot that can accommodate an additional 64GB, a polycarbonate body, Smart Pause and floating touch tech and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
