Even after the launches of the iPhone 4S and iPhone 5, it is the iPhone 4 that leads in advertising shares.
According to mobile advertising firm Velti, the March advertising impressions report shows Apple's gadgets are trouncing the competition.
From data dating between Feb. 1 and March 31, the Apple device leading the advertisement impression share is the iPhone 4. With 13.3 percent, the iPhone 4's lead is not far behind from its successor, iPhone 4S, which captured 12.8 percent of the impressions share.
The next smartphone in advertisement impressions share is the iPhone 5 with 6.9 percent, however, Velti also accounted Apple's iPad 2 and iPod Touch, which placed ahead of the fifth-generation phone with 10.8 percent and 7.1 percent, respectively.
The only non-Apple smartphones to make a dent in the top 10 advertisement impressions share research are Samsung's Galaxy S2 and Galaxy S3. The Galaxy S2 ranked eighth with 2.4 percent, actually tying Apple's iPhone 3GS for the position. The Galaxy S3 finished tenth with 1.8 percent.
The numbers could change, possibly still in Apple's favor, as the iPhone 5 officially made its debut under the fourth-largest mobile carrier in the U.S. this month, T-Mobile. Samsung could see slightly better numbers too as it launched their latest Samsung smartphone. Galaxy S4, this month as well, across several carriers.
