It was rumored Google's next mobile platform would be the Android 5.0, however, a report states the search engine website will continue with the Jelly Bean name.
According to Android Police, Google is working on Android version 4.3.
The report noted server logs with build "Android 4.3 JWR23B," which Android Police believes indicated Google will keep the Jelly Bean name since the first letter of the build "is always" the same as the first letter of the Android version's name.
"Now, you might say that server logs can be easily faked, and it happens all the time," reported Artem Russakovskii. "You'd be absolutely right, which is why I would have never posted this had I not traced the IP range to Google itself. In fact, 2 different IP ranges, both corresponding to Google employees. Employees that have a lot to do with Android. It's the same IP range that had previously clued us in to some of the unreleased versions of Android before they were announced."
In addition, the devices that so far will carry Android 4.3 are the Nexus 4 and Nexus 7.
Version 4.3 would ease speculation about the alleged Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. Based on server logs, no detail about the Key Lime Pie is hinted.
