Rockstar Games may be busy at work finishing Grand Theft Auto 5, but that does not mean that they do not have time for other projects. Between the mural Rockstar had made in new York City of the game's box art, the release of official radio playlists from previous games, and the re-release of older handheld titles onto the PlayStation Network, Rockstar has restlessly conjured hype for the latest GTA. Now, Rockstar has apparently activated the Epsilon Program Twitter account after five months of inactivity.
The parody of Scientology and cults in general (whose official website can be found here) recently came back from this long period of activity, vowing to come back with more litigation and promises followers the truth, "as soon as we can finish it."
Finally won the court case! We are innocent, we are back and we are not a cult!

It’s been proven. Not guilty. Justice has been served. We will be suing someone. — Epsilon Program (@EpsilonismToday) April 20, 2013
Coming just as soon as we can finish it, a real chance to learn the truth. #truthseekers!

It is unclear what this fake religion has to do with the world of Grand Theft Auto 5, but hopefully the Epsilon Program will show up somewhere in the game. Perhaps Los Santos is the center of the cult, or may even be a part of the game's story. Players may even have the chance to join the Epsilon Program as a member, which certainly would be a first for the series. The cult promotes the Twelve Tenets of Kifflom, which state that dinosaurs are not real, trees can talk, and the world is 157 years old.
Whatever the reason for the Epsilon Program's sudden activity, gamers will just have to wait until Grand Theft Auto comes out on September 17 to discover its signifcance. GTA 5 will launch on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. In the meantime, fans of the series can check out the new artwork that Rockstar has posted from the game. The game is expected to reverse the shrinking sales figures for the industry for the entire year, in tandem with the next-gen consoles expected release later this year.
