The account has a spotty track record with accuracy and reliability, but it also snags plenty of scoops.
The pics show a thick plastic bezel in both black and white. Honestly, it's a bit ugly, but Samsung isn't at the forefront of aesthetics. They often choose a lower price point over impressive design and materials, a gameplan that has paid off for it, setting itself up as a more practical alternative to Apple's high-end positioning. If Apple is "form and function," Samsung is "function over form," at a discount.
"Regardless, what we're looking at is a very angular and sharp design. We can see the display isn't edge-to-edge but the front panel does sit inside a surround which appears to come up around the outer edge and gives the impressions of a very thin bezel. There's also a physical home key which is oddly floating in the middle of the bottom panel. Looking closely, it appears there's also a slot in the bottom edge which looks similar to the S-Pen stylus slot on previous Galaxy Note models. This would imply that whether this is a decoy chassis or not, we're looking at the Galaxy Note 3 in some form or other," KnowYourMobile writes.
We'll see if this leak pans out.
The Galaxy Note 3 is still a long way off and won't be released until later this year. But rumors indicate it will have a 5.9-inch screen with an eight-core Exynos 5 Octa processor, 2GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera, a bigger battery and run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. An unconfirmed source says the Note 3 will debut in Berlin in September.
