The official AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 order page now says the flagship phone will ship Apr. 30, a day before T-Mobile retail stores will have it in stock.
With two day delivery, customers who have pre-ordered the phone should have it in hand by May 3, according to the delivery estimates on the site.
There's no word on whether AT&T retail stores will have the Galaxy S4 in stock on the 30th, but that's a likely scenario, unless AT&T is planning to ship out pre-orders early and unveil the S4 in-store a few days later.
That tactic would put them behind T-Mobile, however, and the two companies often vie for bragging rights over which one released a popular phone first.
Last year, T-Mobile and Sprint offered the Galaxy S3 a full week before AT&T had it in stock, so perhaps AT&T is hoping to reclaim the top spot.
In any case, it looks like all three carriers will beat out Verizon, which doesn't usually partake in these kinds of contests. Rumors say Verizon won't have the Galaxy S4 in stock until May 30, a full month after everyone else.
However, it's possible the delay could benefit Verizon, if it can get its hands on Exynos 5 Octa versions of the S4, which won't be widely available until the fist wavr of S4 devices has been sold.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 features a 1.6GHz eight-core Exynos 5 Octa processor or a 1.9GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor (depending on country), 2GB of RAM, a 5-inch 1920x1080 Full HD AMOLED display at 441 ppi, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video, a 2-megapixel front facing camera, internal storage between 16 and 64GB, an SD card slot that can accommodate an additional 64GB, a polycarbonate body, Smart Pause and floating touch tech and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
